Faery Ink Ophelia Holly and Bows Fae

Good Morning and welcome to another of my Faery Ink posts. I had a completely different project planned for this week, but fell in love with November's One Day Fae Giveaway from last week so changed my plan. If you missed her as the One Day giveaway, you can find Ophelia Holly and Bows Fae here in the etsy store.

I decided to go a little more vintage than usual and used some patterned papers that I got free from a craft show I went to last month. I used my snow globe stencil from Dutch Doobadoo and kept it fairly simple as this shape of card cannot take too much weight as it flops over!

A completely different colour combo from what I would normally use (gold is not a colour I often go for), but I really like it! The actual card base was white, but it didn't look right with the patterned papers, so I sponged Tea Dye Distress Ink all over it and it looks much better I think!

This card is also for

  1. Saw your card at 613 Ave C - thank you for sharing it with us Vannessa. Very cool indeed! Love your use of the snow globe card - and the use of the Tea Dye colors combined with your papers is an excellent choice!
